Key Capabilities
Performance & Design
- Bright colour LCD display presents all critical electrical parameters clearly and simultaneously
- Continuously monitors voltage, current, power draw, energy consumption, frequency, and power factor in real time
- Smart overload indication alerts users when EV load exceeds safe operating limits, helping prevent overheating or wiring damage
- Resettable energy counter enables accurate tracking of individual EV charging sessions
- Built-in memory retains kWh readings and display settings even during power outages
- Supports external CT sensor up to 100A for high-current EV charging applications
- EV-grade internal components designed for continuous, long-duration EV charging environments
- Simple single-phase wiring allows easy installation and direct replacement for existing Wundercurrent meters
Electrical Parameters Explained
- Voltage (V): Displays socket voltage in real time. Below ~180V EVs may charge slowly/refuse; above ~250V risk of heating or charger cut-off.
- Current (A): Indicates how much current the EV is drawing. Helps verify charging speed, detects wiring/socket issues, and prevents overload conditions.
- Power (W / kW): Shows real-time power draw. Useful for checking charging speed and identifying fluctuating power supply.
- Energy Consumption (kWh): Displays total electricity units consumed during an EV charging session. Enables accurate cost calculation and billing verification (ideal for hotels, resorts, workplaces, shared charging).
- Frequency (Hz): Normal supply should remain close to 50 Hz in India. Unstable frequency can interrupt EV charging and protects sensitive EV electronics.
- Power Factor (PF): Healthy EV charging typically requires PF between 0.95–1.0. Low PF indicates wasted electricity and inefficient charging.
